The Department of Education (DepEd) has issued a warning against a fake announcement that has been circulating, especially in social media on a "nationwide class suspension," DZBB Radyo's Luisito Santos reported.

"Nilinaw ng Department of Education na hindi totoo ang kumakalat na impormasyon sa kaugnay sa umanoy nationwide class suspension sa October 5-6, 2026 dahil sa Teacher’s Day," the DepEd said.

(The Department of Education has clarified that the information circulating regarding the alleged nationwide class suspension on October 5-6, 2026 due to Teacher's Day is false.)
