What's the next archery event?
There’s one final archery event yet to be completed at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan - the men’s individual recurve.
Two Indians - Dhiraj Bommadevara and Neeraj Chauhan - were in the field and both have made it to the quarterfinals.
Dhiraj will face Uzbekistan’s Amirkhon Sadikov at 9:30 a.m. IST in the first quarterfinal. Neeraj will be up against Bhutan’s Lam Dorji in the fourth quarterfinal.

Golf: Pranavi tied for top spot with six holes to go
India’s Pranavi Urs had a birdie on the 10th hole which took her score to 14-under. Once again, she caught up with China’s Yuoning Rin and now, the two golfers are joint leaders with six holes left in the final round.
Meanwhile, Aditi is 14th and has a score of 1-over 273 with two holes to go for her. She had six straight birdies from hole 10 to 15. This is massive.

Wrestling (Men's Freestyle 97kg): Deepak Punia storms into semifinals
A dominant win via technical superiority for India’s Deepak Punia over China’s Junpeng Zhou in the round of 16. Deepak will go directly into the semifinals.
He was supposed to face Wui Fung Vincent Li of Hong Kong but that wrestler did not show up on the mat and thus, it is a victory by forfeit for Deepak.

Sagar Jaglan has won his round of 16 bout against Tulga Tumur-Ochir of Mongolia with an 8-1 scoreline. The Indian will face Iran’s Yones Emamichoghaei for a place in the semifinals.

The bronze medal match between China’s Yuwei Huang and Jingyi Zhu is tied at 4-4 after four sets.
Here’s the final set. An 8 for Zhu. Huang hits a 10. Zhu also finds a 10 but that first arrow may have done the damage. Another 10 for Huang. Zhu finishes with a 10. A 9 for Huang will be enough. And she finds a 9!
Yuwei Huang beats Jingyi Zhu 6-4 in an all-Chinese battle to bag the bronze in the women’s individual recurve event.

Golf: Pranavi in second place with 9 holes to go
The Indian golfer has reached the halfway stage of the final and with an overall score of 13-under 232, she is in the silver medal position. China’s Yuoning Rin has a one-shot lead over Pranavi.
Meanwhile, Aditi Ashok has hit five birdies in a row to take her score to 2-over 267 with four more holes remaining for her. That could be crucial in the team medal competition.

Fifth and final set begins.
Yejin Oh only needs a tied set to reach the final. Huang begins first and hits a 10. And so does Oh. A 9 from Huang and a 10 from Oh. The Korean is on the verge of reaching the final. A 10 from Huang. Oh can go ahead with a 9 and she hits a 10! The set ends 30-29 in favour of Oh and she wins the contest 7-3.

Time for Semifinal 2 in which Yejin Oh of South Korea faces China’s Yuwei Huang.
A 9 from Oh to start the match. Huang begins with a 10. A 10 from Oh this time and the same for Huang. Oh ends the set with another 10. Huang can take it with the same but the Chinese archer hits a 9. Set tied at 29-29 and the two archers share the points.
Oh starts Set 2 with a 10. Huang hits a 9. A 9 from Oh. That gives Huang a chance but the Chinese archer has hit what is definitely an 8. A 10 from Oh and she takes the set. Another 8 for Huang. Oh wins the set 29-25 and leads 3-1 in this semifinal.
A crucial third set from Huang’s perspective. She goes first and hits a 9. A 9 for Oh as well. Another 9 for the Chinese archer but Oh finds a 10. A third 9 for Huang. A 9 from Oh is enough to bag the third set 28-27 and take a 5-1 lead in this contest.
Set 4 begins with Huang shooting first again. And she finds a 10 immediately. A 9 from Oh and this gives Huang the early advantage. Another 10 for Huang. Oh hits a 10 as well. Huang can seal the set with a 10 and she does it! Oh also hits a 10 but Huang takes the set 30-29 and reduces the deficit to 3-5 with one set to go.

If her first arrow is a 9, it is a tie at the moment. Another 10 for Zhu. Kumkum has to hit a 10 to have any chance of levelling the set. She does hit a 10.
That first arrow has been given as a 9 and that means another tied set at 29-29.

After beating the reigning World Champion Chaeyoung Kang of South Korea, Indian teenager Kumkum Mohod will next face China’s Jingyi Zhu, the current World Championships silver medallist, in the semifinals.
Zhu just took down Chinese Taipei’s Li Tsai-Chi 6-0 (27-26, 30-28, 30-29).

Kang goes first and hits a 9. A 10 for the Indian. The Korean finds a 10 when she needed it the most. A 9 for Kumkum. Set is tied at the moment. Kang’s third arrow is a 10. Kumkum can level it again with a 10 and protect her lead and she does it!
Set tied at 29-29 and Kumkum leads 5-3 with one set to go.
Another tied set will be enough for the Indian teenager to cause a major upset here.

Kang starts with a 10. It is a 9 for Kumkum which gives the Korean the advantage. A 9 for Kang with her second arrow. Another 9 for the Indian. Kang can clinch the set with a 10 but it is a 9 for her. A 10 for Kumkum needed to tie the set and she does it!!!
She has tied the fifth set 28-28 to eliminate the World Champion Chaeyoung Kang with a 6-4 score.
Absolutely stunning performance from the Indian teenager. She will face either Li Tsai-Chi of Chinese Taipei or China’s Jingyi Zhu in the semifinals.

A tough challenge for 17-year-old Indian Kumkum Mohod as she takes on South Korea’s Chaeyoung Kang for a place in the women’s recurve individual semifinals.
