BATU PAHAT, Oct 4 — Johor police have urged the public to give investigators space to conduct a thorough probe into the death of a female student at a secondary school in Yong Peng.

Johor Deputy Police Chief Datuk M. Kumar said authorities are currently investigating the incident and called on the public to refrain from making speculations that could interfere with the investigation process.

He said police are gathering information and examining all aspects of the case to determine the circumstances surrounding the student’s death.

“The investigation is still ongoing. We ask all parties to allow police to carry out their duties and avoid spreading unverified information that could affect the investigation,” he said.

The incident has attracted widespread public attention, but police have yet to disclose further details pending the outcome of investigations.

Kumar said any confirmed developments would be announced once investigations have been completed and relevant facts verified.
