La réaction de Francis Halzen prix Nobel de physique : "Une reconnaissance pour ceux qui m’ont toujours soutenu"

Le physicien belgo-américain Francis Halzen, récompensé du prix Nobel de physique mardi, espère que cette attribution est une reconnaissance pour les personnes qui l’ont soutenu depuis le début, a-t-il déclaré après l’annonce du prix à Stockholm.

"J’espère que cela met en valeur les personnes vraiment courageuses qui m’ont soutenu depuis le début de ce projet, alors qu’aucun physicien conservateur ne voulait me soutenir", a indiqué M. Halzen dans une réaction au comité du prix Nobel. "Mais beaucoup de gens talentueux l’ont finalement fait et c’est la raison pour laquelle j’en suis là aujourd’hui."

Pour le lauréat, la reconnaissance des personnes avec qui il a collaboré lui offre la plus grande satisfaction dans la remise du prix Nobel.
