Venticinque anni fa a Linate il più grave incidente aereo mai avvenuto in Italia

"Io quella mattina sento questo botto alle 08:08, neanche il tempo di girarmi, non ho visto più niente: ho visto tutto il fuoco addosso". Pasquale Padovano è sopravvissuto al disastro aereo di Linate. Venticinque anni fa lavorava, come ogni giorno, allo smistamento bagagli. Il radar di terra era fuori uso. Lo scontro nella nebbia tra un MD-80 della Scandinavian Airlines, in partenza per Copenaghen, e un Cessna che aveva imboccato la pista sbagliata costò la vita a 118 persone.

Questa mattina, prima all'aeroporto milanese e poi nella Basilica di Sant'Ambrogio, le famiglie delle vittime si sono ritrovate per ricordare quell'8 ottobre 2001. Pochi giorni fa, proprio a Linate, l'incontro con il presidente Mattarella, che ha assicurato che il dolore non si estingue nemmeno 25 anni dopo.
