Most wanted person in Ilocos Sur town falls
SAN ILDEFONSO, ILOCOS SUR, Philippines — Police arrested the top municipal-level most wanted person in Cervantes town in this province on Tuesday, Sept. 29, as the Ilocos Sur Police Provincial Office (ISPPO) intensified its campaign against wanted persons.
The 22-year-old suspect was arrested in Barangay Concepcion by personnel of the Cervantes Municipal Police Station, 102nd Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 1, and the Ilocos Sur Police Intelligence Unit.
Police said the arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant for qualified rape, with no bail recommended.
