South Cotabato gov: 3 dead, 6 wounded in school shooting
KORONADAL CITY – Three students were killed, and six others were wounded in a shooting incident inside the Banga National High School in Banga, South Cotabato, on Friday noon, Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. said.
Tamayo said he gave the update to provide accurate information for the public amid reports circulating on social and mainstream media.
As of 4:10 p.m., three individuals and six others were confirmed killed and injured, respectively, he said.

Of the three killed, one was the shooter, the governor said. One other was a female student, he added.
The six wounded were brought to different hospitals in the province, Tamayo said.
He said the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office provided the information.
