PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur—A total of 51 mostly foreign nationals rounded up in the biggest POGO raid in Zamboanga Sibugay last week are set to be flown to Manila on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Maj. Noeilio Brigole, spokesperson for the Army’s 1st Infantry Division, the individuals were transported from Zamboanga Sibugay to Pagadian Airport on Tuesday morning. They are now awaiting the military aircraft that will fly them to Manila.

Set to be flown to Manila are 49 Chinese nationals, a Cambodian, and a Filipino, Brigole added.

The individuals were among more than 200 rounded up in Alicia and Siay towns in the largest raid, so far, against Philippine offshore gaming operations led by the National Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Immigration.

Some of those rounded up were classified as potential victims of human trafficking./coa
