Brisbane teenager in critical condition after being struck by two cars
A teenage boy is in a critical condition after a hit-and-run in south-east Brisbane on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to reports that a pedestrian had been struck by two vehicles on Old Cleveland Road in Belmont about 9.45pm.
The 16-year-old Wynnum boy was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
The first vehicle, a dark SUV, fled the scene before police arrived.
The second vehicle remained. Its driver, a 19-year-old Zillmere man, was not injured.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and said investigations into the crash are continuing.
