Nick Hogan Reveals Where He Stands With Sister Brooke Hogan After Hulk Hogan Family Feud
Brooke Hogan has stopped wrestling with herself over family drama.
In fact, the 38-year-old had already made peace with her fallout from dad Hulk Hogan before his 2025 death. As Brooke put it, their father-daughter dynamic was never the same after he had sex with her friend Christiane Plante in 2008 while still married to her mom Linda Hogan in the early aughts.
“A major turning point came after he slept with my friend Christiane," Brooke told Us Weekly in an interview published Sept. 24. “I forgive people very easily—sometimes probably too easily—and I forgave him, but something between us changed afterward. I don’t think he ever related to me in quite the same way again."
And after Linda, 67, filed for divorce in 2007 after 24 years of marriage, Brooke said their "entire family structure changed."
"Over time, things became increasingly complicated until eventually the relationship I had always believed could survive anything couldn’t survive what was happening around us anymore," Brooke explained. "That’s probably the biggest thing I wish people understood about the Hogan family: Public perception reduces families into heroes and villains. Real families aren’t that simple.”
Though Brooke felt "tremendous love” within her family, she also noted there was "dysfunction, fear, resentment, enormous betrayal, money, fame, image management and decades of unresolved hurt all existing underneath the same roof."
“I can love my father profoundly and still tell the truth about where he hurt me," she added. "I can acknowledge the wonderful things my family gave me while also acknowledging that eventually the dynamic became something I could no longer live inside. Both things can be true.”
While Hulk (real name Terry Bollea) never publicly addressed his fling with Plante, she previously told National Enquirer that their affair happened when the wrestler and Linda "privately knew their marriage was ending."
Meanwhile, Linda's publicist told E! News in 2008 that "when Linda discovered Hulk had [an affair] with Brooke's best friend, Christiane Plante, she made the decision to call it quits on the marriage."
Indeed, Brooke was estranged from her dad when he died from a heart attack at age 71.

“We never had a ‘big fight.’ My father and I never ‘fought,’” Brooke shared in a July 2025 Instagram. "But issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business.”
The Hogan Knows Best alum said their “respectful disagreements that took an emotional toll," coupled with her high-risk pregnancy carrying twins Oliver and Molly with husband Steven Oleksy, led her to "step away” from Hulk during his final days.
"I know in my heart I did everything I could,” she added. “He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this.”
