Standard One pupil dies after falling from 10th floor of PPR
JOHOR BARU: A 7-year-old pupil died after falling from the 10th floor of a People's Housing Project (PPR) in Tampoi here today.
The incident occurred around 5.30pm while the boy was riding his bicycle outside his home.
At the time, his mother was inside the house, while his father, who works as a lorry attendant, was away at work.
The boy's mother was informed of the incident by one of his friends. The victim was the second of four siblings.
A police forensic team was seen conducting investigations at the scene. The boy's bicycle was taken for further examination.
The body was sent to Hospital Sultanah Aminah here for a post-mortem.
