The arrest was confirmed on Monday in an interview with PUNCH Metro by the Media Information Officer of the Joint Task Force, Operation Enduring Peace, Captain Chinonso Oteh.
“Yes, it is true. That one happened in the Jos North area,” Oteh said when contacted.
In a follow-up report shared with our correspondent, he said troops from Sector 1 of Operation Enduring Peace arrested the suspect, identified as Salim Idris, at about 11:30 am on October 25 at Filin Sukuwa in Jos North.
