'Debate settled': Texas' UT jab at Tennessee leads top trolls of CFB Week 4

Ahead of Texas and Tennessee's Week 4 SEC showdown, the question was asked plenty: Who's the top UT?

As far as the Longhorns are concerned, the result on the field has now officially decided the matter.

Texas notched a 20-17 win Saturday afternoon, adding another ranked win to its impressive early-season résumé. It wasn't without some late consternation, as a late Volunteer touchdown and successful onside kick gave Tennessee the chance at a stunning last-gasp comeback, but a relentless pass rush helped the Longhorns eventually escape unscathed.

And they left Knoxville while offering a final parting shot via social media. Texas posted a simple message after the win: "Debate settled."

The Longhorns weren't the only team to offer up a troll this week. Here are the top virtual jabs from Week 4.

Wake Forest 30, Louisville 27

Some late dramatics made Wake Forest's road upset of Louisville particularly thrilling -- the Cardinals had two field goal attempts to tie the game in the final minutes, but the first missed and the second was blocked as the clock ran out.

As the Demon Deacons left Derby City with a win, their social media team provided a visual to match. Wake Forest posted a video on X of the school's deacon mascot riding his trademark motorcycle out of the stadium via the red-carpeted "Card March," with a "DEACS WIN" banner unfurling behind the scene from the top of L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium.

Baylor 23, Colorado 13

Baylor posted a result worthy of its distinctive throwback threads, topping Colorado to earn a conference victory.

The Bears leaned into the vintage theme postgame, posting "Party like it's 1991" -- with a graphic showing a cracked old-school television set showing a buffalo, with a bear claw mark made in the ground.

UAB 24, Navy 20

A 48-yard fourth-quarter touchdown run by Bam McReynolds made the difference for UAB, which notched its second win of the season.

The Blazers went with a creative version of the traditional mascot-oriented troll after the game, posting a graphic of UAB players celebrating above a "Battleship" board game set, captioned "BATTLE. WON."

Liberty 34, Coastal Carolina 17

Liberty trailed Coastal Carolina 17-10 at halftime on the road, but found a second gear in the second half -- posting 24 unanswered points to move to 3-1 on the young season.

Following the win, the Flames' X account posed an open question: "what even is a Chanticleer???" with the query accompanied by a graphic of an eagle with a teal feather snared in its beak. The image also has its own text -- "GOBBLE GOBBLE," written at the top of the graphic above a display of the game's final score.
