Number coding suspended on Nov. 2, All Souls' Day —MMDA
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Thursday announced that the implementation of the number coding scheme will be suspended on Monday, November 2.
November 2, All Souls Day, was declared as a special non-working holiday.
"Awtomatikong sinususpinde ang number coding tuwing regular at special non-working holidays," MMDA said.
(The number coding scheme is automatically suspended during regular and special non-working holidays.)
The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) is expecting around 1.9 million passengers this year amid the exodus for this year's Undas break.
Meanwhile, several passengers have started traveling to the provinces more than a week ahead of Undas, filling bus terminals early either to beat the holiday rush or to secure their tickets before the surge of crowds. —VAL, GMA News
