The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Electronic Support System (LESS) is currently offline as the agency investigates a reported security breach.
LESS is LTFRB's digital platform used to process online applications, handle transactions, and provide electronic support to motorists.
"Dahil dito, suspendido muna hanggang sa susunod na abiso ang lahat ng serbisyo at transaksyong may kaugnayan sa LESS," LTFRB said in a statement on Saturday.
(Due to the incident, all services and transactions related to LESS are suspended until further notice.)
(All concerned offices and personnel are advised not to access or process any transactions through LESS until an official notice is issued regarding the restoration of the system.)
LTFRB further said it is coordinating with the Communications Technology (DICT) and Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) in investigating the incident.
The LTFRB is also coordinating with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) in validating the specific data affected by the incident.
(The LTFRB assures the public that all necessary data security measures are being immediately implemented to address the incident as soon as possible.) —Mariel Celine Serquiña/RF, GMA News
