Govt allocates additional RM150mil to complete three Felda housing projects

Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: The government has allocated an additional RM150 million to complete three Felda New Generation Housing Projects (PGBF) involving 554 units.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the projects, comprising 200 units each at Felda Bukit Aping Timur and Felda Pasak, and 154 units at Felda Kerteh 5, were announced during Felda Settlers' Day on July 7.

On the Rumah Pahang housing project at Felda Jengka 11, Anwar said it had been fully handed over to the Pahang government through the Pahang Housing and Property Board (LPHP).

"The project was 75 per cent complete in 2025 and is currently undergoing maintenance under the supervision of the relevant authorities," he said in a written reply published on Parliament's official website.

He was responding to a question from Kamal Ashaari (PN-Kuala Krau).

Anwar said the PGBF programme began in 2013, with 2,458 housing units across 12 project sites completed and occupied by eligible second-generation Felda settlers.
