MANILA, Philippines – The impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte shifts to a full-day schedule Thursday as the Senate impeachment court moves to speed up proceedings before taking a break for the 2027 national budget deliberations. The court will hear the case from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays until Oct. 15, with the prosecution expected to present witnesses on Duterte’s alleged hidden wealth, including former Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV, Anti-Money Laundering Council Executive Director Ronel Buenaventura, and a Davao property registrar./dp
