Translate

MELAKA: Barisan Nasional will unveil its manifesto for the Melaka election about 3pm this Friday.

Melaka BN chairman Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, who is also caretaker chief minister, confirmed the announcement when asked by the media about the coalition's manifesto launch.

"Friday at 3pm, yes. The manifesto," he said after visiting the BN main operations room for the Pengkalan Batu constituency here today.

Meanwhile, he expressed confidence in the coalition's election machinery, which he said had gained momentum ahead of polling day on Nov 14.

He said visits to several constituencies showed that BN's machinery at the polling district level was actively preparing for the election.

"I have been monitoring the campaign across Melaka. In the areas I have visited, I found that preparations by all the PDMs have been very encouraging and positive.

"They are eagerly awaiting the 14th to translate this into a 'blue wave' on polling day," he said.

The BN candidate for the Tanjung Bidara seat said the developments had further boosted the coalition's confidence, with polling day presenting an opportunity to trigger a "blue wave".

He added that coordination at the state constituency level was crucial to ensuring all campaign plans were implemented effectively.
