Tinubu 2027: RELAX DG Ahmed Bala storms Kaduna for presidential campaign flag-off, rallies support for Tinubu’s re-election

The Director General of RELAX, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, Hon Ahmed Bala, has arrived in Kaduna State ahead of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 presidential campaign flag-off, expressing confidence in the administration’s economic reforms and infrastructure development programmes.

RELAX, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, is described by its leadership as a sister organisation to the City Boy Movement, with both organisations founded by Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The organisations are involved in political mobilisation, public engagement and advocacy for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Bala, who has remained at the forefront of political advocacy for the administration, said the Kaduna gathering provides an opportunity to highlight the government’s achievements and strengthen public engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He identified the ongoing reconstruction of the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano highway as one of the major infrastructure projects receiving attention under the Tinubu administration.

The highway, which connects the Federal Capital Territory with major commercial centres in Northern Nigeria, remains critical to the movement of goods, agricultural produce and passengers.

Other federal infrastructure projects include the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, the Sokoto-Zamfara-Zaria road corridor, the Kano-Maiduguri highway and road rehabilitation projects across several northern states.

Bala maintained that improved transportation infrastructure would strengthen commerce, reduce logistics challenges and open new economic opportunities for communities across the region.

The RELAX Nigeria DG also highlighted the administration’s educational interventions through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, agricultural support programmes and the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative.

He said the Federal Government’s efforts to improve healthcare delivery, increase public revenue and expand infrastructure investment should be considered alongside the economic challenges facing the country.

While acknowledging the difficulties experienced by Nigerians following major economic reforms, Bala expressed optimism that sustained implementation of the administration’s policies could produce long-term benefits.

He further emphasised the importance of grassroots political engagement, describing RELAX Nigeria and the City Boy Movement as platforms through which supporters can communicate the administration’s programmes and priorities.

Bala expressed support for President Tinubu’s re-election, arguing that continuity would provide an opportunity to consolidate ongoing reforms and complete major development projects.

He called for peaceful political participation and urged Nigerians to assess the administration’s performance as the country prepares for the 2027 presidential election.
