Remulla earlier told the Inquirer that Romualdez was expected to be transferred to the jail facility within the day on Monday following the Sandiganbayan Third Division’s order.
This came after a week of hospital confinement for some purported ailments, first at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan City, then at the Philippine General Hospital in Manila.
