Teens hospitalised after alleged house party knife attack
Two teenagers have been hospitalised after an apparent knife attack during a house party in Brisbane’s western suburbs on Saturday night.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the Spilsby Place address at The Gap about 8.40pm.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested, she said, and was assisting police with their inquiries.
“Investigations are ongoing,” the spokeswoman said.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said two male patients in their teens were assessed at the scene.
“One was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition with a face laceration. The other patient was transported to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a stable condition with wounds to his face and arm,” the spokesperson said.
