5 dead in fire that hit Sorsogon City market

Five people died in a fire that engulfed the Sorsogon City Public Market on Saturday night, the Bureau of Fire Protection-Sorsogon City said.
The fire reached the second alarm before it was put out at 2:27 a.m. Sunday, the BFP-Sorsogon City added.
The Coast Guard District Bicol through Coast Guard Station Sorsogon (CGS Sorsogon) and Coast Guard Sub-Station Talisay (CGSS Talisay) also responded to the fire and shared photos and videos of the incident.
Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and the extent of property damage. —KG, GMA News
