Translate

LEGAZPI CITY—A P1.3-million reward has been put up for information leading to the identification and arrest of suspects in the Oct. 12 murder of broadcaster Adrian Loterte in Daraga, Albay.

Loterte, an anchor of RBN News Television’s online program “Rabas Cun Rabas” and a freelance broadcaster for dwIZ FM, was tending to his bakery in Barangay San Roque when two men attacked him. He was taken to a local hospital but died while undergoing treatment.

The Bicol regional police has formed a Special Investigation Task Group to consolidate leads and coordinate forensic and cybercrime investigations. Investigators are reviewing closed-circuit television and dashcam footage and examining Loterte’s mobile phone for possible threats or messages linked to the killing.
