LIST: Water interruptions in Metro Manila, Rizal this week

MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Metro Manila and Rizal will experience water interruptions starting Oct. 26, due to maintenance activities.

According to Maynilad Water Services Inc., the maintenance work will affect parts of Caloocan and Quezon City as the company seeks to keep the water distribution system “safe, reliable and in good condition.”

“These works usually affect only small areas and are done during off-peak hours to minimize impact on our customers,” said Maynilad in an advisory.

Meanwhile, Manila Water also announced that it will conduct maintenance and service improvement activities in several cities in Metro Manila, as well as parts of Rizal.

Below are the areas which will face water interruptions, according to Maynilad:

• Caloocan City
  • October 26 to 27 – 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Barangays 8, 25, 28, 32, 32 to 35, 166 and NBBS Kaunlaran
  • October 26 to 27 – 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Barangays 49, 52 to 71, 73 to 75, 77 to 80, 93, 97, 98, 101 to 103, 105 to 107, 109 to 116, 121 to 131
• Quezon City
  • October 26 to 27 – 11 a.m. to 6 a.m. – Barangays Pag-ibig sa Nayon and San Jose

Meanwhile, areas affected by Manila Water’s service interruptions are as follows:

  • October 26 to 27 – 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. – Barangay Rosario
  • October 29 to 30 – 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. – Barangay Sta. Lucia
• Quezon City
  • October 27 to 28 – 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. – UP Campus
  • October 28 to 29 – 10 p.m. to 4 a.m –  Pasong Tamo
• Taguig City
  • October 28 to 29 – 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. – Western Bicutan
• Marikina City
  •  October 27 to 28 – 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. – UP Campus – Barangays Sta. Elena, Sto. Niño and Marikina Public Market
• Taytay, Rizal
  • October 26 to 27 – 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. – Portions of Barangay Sta. Ana
• Binangonan, Rizal
