Singer, Manu Chukwuye, known as Chacx, has released a new single, Forgive, featuring veteran musician African China.

The song, released on Friday, October 30, brings the emerging artiste together with African China, who is known for his street-inspired sound and songs addressing social realities in Nigeria.

Chacx, was born in Edo State and raised in Edo and Lagos states. He began his music career in 2019 with the release of Obi Mo, featuring Cme2k.

In 2021, he released his debut extended play, New Beginning, a five-track project. He followed it in 2022 with Blessed, featuring Portable and Shocker Lo Se Beat.

The singer released his second EP, Advanced, a six-track project, in 2023, before putting out Hold Me in 2024.

His subsequent releases include Baby Girl and Feelings in 2025, followed by Fake Friends in 2026. Also in 2026, Chacx signed with Homeboy International Music, marking another development in his career.

The release of Forgive adds to his growing catalogue as he continues to establish himself in the Nigerian music industry.

The collaboration also brings him together with African China, whose music has drawn on everyday experiences and social issues affecting Nigerians, giving the new single a connection to the street-oriented tradition associated with the veteran singer.
