WATCH: Stars gather for Christopher de Leon’s 70th birthday
Veteran actor Christopher de Leon was treated to a birthday surprise organized by his family and celebrity friends.
Amy Austria shared a video of the group singing “Happy Birthday” to de Leon, who turned 70, in an Instagram post on Saturday, Oct. 31.
“Eto na! Sinurprise namin ang King Of Drama. Ang gulo ng kanta hahaha,” she wrote in the caption.

De Leon’s wife, actress Sandy Andolong, also thanked the celebrities who joined the last-minute celebration.

“Thank you so much to our Saturday family for the last minute surprise birthday gathering last night. Bo & I are very blessed to have all of you in our life,” she said.
Among those present were Austria, Gina Alajar, Tirso Cruz III, Melissa de Leon, Ronnie Joseph and Direk Bobot.
Andolong also shared a heartfelt birthday message for her husband, whom she described as the “rock” of their family.
“Thank you for leading our home with prayer, pouring so much of your love & time to us and walking closely with God. Watching you love Him and lead us is the greatest blessing of my life,” she wrote.

She also wished de Leon continued wisdom, peace and blessings, adding that she and their children love him very much.
