In the Public Square: Nine years after Marawi seige

Rappler columnist John Nery is joined by Drieza Lininding, chair of the Moro Consensus Group. Catch the episode on Wednesday, October 21, at 8 pm.

It has been nine years since the brutal siege of Marawi City came to an end. At the height of the siege, some 300,000 families were displaced. Today, thousands of “bakwit” remain in temporary shelters. And that is only the most visible of proud Marawi’s many wounds.

In this new episode of In the Public Square, Rappler columnist John Nery is joined by Drieza Lininding, chair of the Moro Consensus Group.
