Bam Adebayo on Wednesday scored a season-high 35 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Klay Thompson added 30 points, including the game-winning three-pointer with one second left in overtime, as the visiting Miami Heat rallied for a 117-116 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in Inglewood, California.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, while Davion Mitchell added 11 points and 10 assists as the Heat won for the third time in four games following an 0-4 start. Bobby Portis Jr had 10 rebounds.

Miami had a chance to win in regulation time with 2.7 seconds remaining, but Adebayo missed a jumper from the free-throw line at the buzzer.
